The European Commission believes ‘profound lifestyle changes’ are needed if our societies are to meet the targets of the Paris climate talks last year. Food and agri systems will be at the heart of those changes needed. The Croft embarks on creating new ways of living that are lighter on the planet.
The croft was just an old neglected derelict site which has now become a beloved green space, an iconic landmark of Leith. It is so important to people here because Leith hosts one of the most densely populated areas within the UK.
